Minutes PART Meeting July 20, 2021
7:30 PM – 9:00 PM EDT
Cameron Senior Center, Westford
Officers Present:
The Club’s first hybrid meeting.
Participants: 26 in-person + 11 via WebEx
George, K1IG, welcomed everyone back to our first in-person meeting since February 2020. A round of introductions opened the meeting. We welcomed four newcomers.
Alan, W1AHM, gave the Treasurer’s Report:
Despite the Covid restrictions, the Club remained active. George recapped the club activities since March 2020. The details are in his slide deck and are not repeated here. This and other presentations are posted on the WB1GOF website in the Presentations tab..
We noted the following Silent Keys:
Jeff, KD1IT
Jim, KC1JXL
Joe, WA1UYR
Bill, AA1O.
George described upcoming events. There is also the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo on August 14-15: https://www.qsotodayhamexpo.com. PART member Bob, W1IS, will be one of the speakers at this event.
The Club gave the following Field Day awards:
Terry, KA8SCP, gave a complete update on the state of his three repeaters. He also shared details of a forthcoming DMR repeater to be located up at the Highway Department.
Terry was given a Service Award for his many decades as editor of the PARTicles Newsletter.
Lastly, Steve, W1KBE, gave a demonstration of his homebrew Tesla Coil. Pretty impressive lightning.

- $7,410 balance in the General Fund
- $6,136 in the Repeater Fund
- $1,269 in the Kit Building Fund
- Total cash on hand $14,815.
